Spiritual practice should not be a focal point towards a
higher deity. Like moksha or enlightenment. Sakam sadhana, spiritual
practice (pleasure). This is the lowest form of sadhana. No spiritual
progress is performed. Examples of sakam sadhana are paying for goals
like success in life or any other temporary happiness, will not last
beyond death. Therefore, resulting in enlightenment has not been
reached.
