Operations are on to rescue 15 crew members of ship Pratibha Cauvery that ran aground here as cyclone Nilam hit Tamil Nadu coast Wednesday afternoon, said an official, even as a person died in the mishap and the fate of six people was not immediately known.

Thanks to cyclone nilam , the ship pratibha cauvery from mumbai , got stuck off the shore of chennai. it is a ship and had 32 crew members. 1 died and 6 are missing , when crew members attempted to reach to safety on a rough sea using life boats and the boat capsized
