John W. Kluge Prize is given for human sciences. However, the prize referred to as America's Nobel prize is Albert Lasker Medical Research Award, given for contributions of scientists, physicians, and public servants who have made major advances in the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure or prevention of human disease.
