English me uthar dene ki anumathi deejiyega. Unfortunately I am not good in Hindi. Ravan's caricature depicts his sensual character. Personifying qualities (Gunas) is a common approach in Vedic literature. Even Ganapathy's figure depicts various charactreristics personified in a single picture. What does the ten heads and tren pairs (20) of hands depict ? Asuras in general and Ravanasura in particular depict highly sensual and strong physical characteristic.Answered by SNSharma, 11 Mar '09 12:50 am
Ravan ko das head or bis bhujae nahi thi, yeh the kya huva tha ki jab jab Sri Ram ne ravan ka sir katta, thab thab dusra head place ho gaya, kyunki ravan ko blessings thi ki jab thak uskii navel mai jo amar ka kund (pot) tha voh nahi toote thab thak ravan nahi mar saktha. jab ravan ko das head diye gaye tho apne artists ne yeh kalpana kar li ki usko 20 bhujae bhi hai.Answered by rajnikant raiyarela, 11 Mar '09 08:11 am
