Q.

For Dhoni & Harbhanjan, the colour of money, clearly, is more important than the tricolour. Both were to receive the Padma shri. Neither had informed to Home ministry about the inability to come for the ceremony. The invitations are sent almost a month before d ceremony. The people who wanted to give Padma to MSD & HS made the mistake. They dont deserve this award. Dhoni and bhajji should not have done this. They should be penalized. There is a limit for everything. Why hype someone to such an extent that he forgets that his feet are still touching the ground.... Your views plz.

Sumatiji --for this none othe than people like us, are to be blamed . we made them super heroes , we made them even gods. the money and hype have become the integral part of their lives and as such state recognition is nothing to them.they care afig for that as the country matters little to the --only money matters! Moreover our authories are also responsible--theresomany talented and deserving sportsmen who never get recognition and state never honours them as they are away from politics--all their honest attempts get lost in wilderness. all these are known to dhoni and bhajithats why they bother a little about padmasree --and this is India , a country which they represent

OF COURSE money's more important than the tricolour to Bhajji & Dhoni. The same is true w/ you too (and also me)!!!!) You mean to tell me if ur hubby & you lose your jobs, and you find no prospectus of betterment...you mean to tell me u 2 won't head over abroad???? I dare you to say no lol.

Maybe Bhajji & Dhoni really, really didn't care about the award? Why should Dhoni & Bhajji be penalized if they didn't show up to pick up an award????? Awards are given in India too easily these days, and this also dilutes the originally high esteem associated w/ them.

Several rock stars in Goa, for example, have turned down several prestegious honours bestowed upon them by the establishment, to keep true to their "non mainstream" ways.....

It shows the patriotic fervour of our youth today...the moot question is why dont they feel proud of such awards...yeah...the colour of money has coloured their minds to the extent that anything which does not smell of money is not worthwhile to them. Maybe their money making ventures subjugated their feel of pride and dignity !

We are a nation of crazy people,so, anything & everything CHALEGA ! I wonder what prevents the Govt to recall the honour n put them in to jail for hishonouring the national honour. If my memory is serving well, they have on ealier occassion left the ceromonies at Rashtrapati Bhawan even before the President leaven hurned her back .Here, again I smell vote-bank politics as the Govt of the day is fighting a bitter political bettle to retain the powern they simply cannot afford to annoy any one.Really, its' a shame !

Dhoni's irresponsible behavior towards nation is very shameless.
He is captain but nothing is useful. desh ko ijjat nahi dene waale ko desh main rakhne se bhalaai nahi hain.
