Gmail, officially Google Mail in Germany and the United Kingdom, is a free Web-based email (webmail), POP3 and IMAP e-mail service provided by Google. Email is a electronic means to send ur documents, messages and other multimedia contents to other users thru the Internet.
Gmail is a server started by Google which provides email facilities. There are also others as rediff, yahoo, hotmail,aol,etc.
