Pradosha or Pradosham is a bimonthly occasion on the thirteenth day of every fortnight in Hindu calendar. It is closely connected with the worship of Hindu god Shiva. The auspicious 3 hour period, 1.5 hours before and after the sunset is one of the optimum time for worship of Lord Shiva. The fast or vow performed during the period is called "Pradosha vrata"

It is the day for worshipping Lord Shiva

It comes twice a month, i.e.
15 moon days from New moon to Full moon
15 moon days from Full moon to New moon
The evening of travodasi, i.e., the 13th moon day between 4.30 p.m and 6.00 p.m. is Pradosha. Whatever sins we have committed will be forgiven by the lord if we pray wholeheartedly.
We can pray to God by performing abhishegam. Milk gives long life. Ghee gives moksha. Sandal gives Lakshmis grace and there are lots more.
Chant Om Namashivaya and write 108 times to get Gods grace.
