Organizational Behaviour (OB) may be defined as the study and application of knowledge about how people, individuals, as well as groups act in organizations. It does so by adopting a system approach. The purpose of the same is to build better relationships by achieving human objectives, organizational objectives, in addition to social objectives.

It is about the psychology of the people working in an organisation and how the institutional efficiency enhanced by recognising behaviour of human beings and stimulating work accordingly for maximum advantage and profit of the organisation with the full cooperation and coordination of all concerned..
