What is the exact story behind Taj Mahal is still a Raaz. Because some consider it to be a Hindu Temple before the event of Mumtaz. So for far history has to be made clearly understood before to give any views on it. I have read the different views over here each stating differently. Some say that the workers hands were cut off after it was built if it is a reality then "Symbol of love can't be stood on the pains of several innocent's blood. " One more things crores of Rupees were utlised for its construction somewhere this money can be utlised for some good purpose. Bascially I thought it was a symbol of eternal love of an Emperor for his Empress. But now I think what I should comment about it. It has honoured our nation being one of the seven wonder's of the world. But still the truth of the Taj has to be discovered!!!

Taj Mahal was Tejo Mahalaya built by ancient Hindus.
Mumtaz was not Shah Jahans first wife. Shah Jahans
first wife, the queen, was a great grand-daughter of
the ruler of Persia Shah Ismail Safwi. Shah Jahan had
numerous other wives and many consorts. He not only was
married before taking Mumtaz as his wife, but also
married again after her death. In between these
weddings, he also used to take consorts by the hundreds
into his harem. It is therefore futile to argue that
Shah Jahan was so devoted to Mumtaz as to lose all ...more

It's a beautyful monument, symbol of love, for the people who does not know the real cruel history behind it.
The entire world got duped in this matter. Very few people know that originally it is called as "Tejo Mahalay", and then became "Taj Mahal". Many historical evidences are available to support this true history of it.

A huge amt of money wasted, harm to 20,000 workers by cutting their hands. If u really love someone, u cannot hurt others. So its' just a showoff of shahjahans love to her dead wife mumtaj, nothing else. If he had not cutted the workers' hands, i could have think in other way.
