Yes but the politicians take late decisions about things from which they do not get any minetary benefit.
India should take such joiint exercises with Israel too as their Army is very strong and well equipped and they are fearless fighters right from the days of the Yom Kippur War and the Entebbe Airport attack where the way the Israeli commandos rescued their fellow soldiers was indeed praiseworthy.

I don't know comrade, is India's defense doctrine & intel setup the same as the UK's? I dunno, UK's combat doctrine sort of relies on air superiority outright, or in short time, with technological superiority over the enemy, I dunno if Indians can follow the same logic.

And we should share our exp w/ countries that have faced situations like J&K- not because of their own doing but because of external meddling. UK Armed Forces for one, have never had to deal w/ operations like J&K single handedly.

We should carry on w/ our traditional allies like Russia in this matter. Far more hardy & punishment taking capable of a force. I dunno, training w/ Vietnamese Army is a good idea too, NAM allies. They beat a superpower w/ protracted combat. That's something we could use considering our xp w/ China....

Hey- not that I have anything against UK or UK Army- harriers are good pieces of equipment....but I dunnno what we can gain from training w/ them in the situatio ...more
