Q.
A woman in Karnataka was stopped from entering an exhibition by a cop for not dressing appropriately. Our country mentions no guidelines for dress code but cops do have moral policing. Its quite embarassing when people pick on others clothing and mannerisms . What can be done about this

Katrina may be able to take walk without clothes in a beach in USA or Canada but not in India. More pertinent question is why the need for moral policing should arise first of all. While, we are free to choose what we wear and what we don't - some decorum must be maintained by every individual to suit the occassion atleast in public places.
It is simply like, you are supposed to cover your head while visiting Gurudwara and if somebody asks you to do so at entrance, there is no other option but to comply.

Every educational institute has a dress code, and violation demands action.. This code is to prevent entering of other persons in the campus. Many incidents have occurred when such persons do objectionable things.. Therefore to identify a legitimate student, a specific dress and i card is provided. If the girl was genuine, she could have wore her uniform. I feel she was a fake student who wished to impersonate at the time of examination.. I bet, she could not prove herself true, at the time of 'cross questions' asked by cops.

This is atleast okay. i chennai , a few days back , a couple were seated in a car near elliots beach. a police man came to the car and branded the woman as a commercial worker. when she swore and objected , the policeman started to touch the woman , feel her and fondled her. Times of india headlines ( 04 september 2012 ) chennai edition.
this is how bad law is in india and the law makers are very arrogant , and also foul mouthed. we are just silent spectators adjusting with life
