In Kerala , There are 14 Networks . Vodafone Essar and Idea Cellular are standing in No1 Position in the terms of Coverage . Most of the Keralaties are using IDEA .
Airtel really needs to improve their capacity in Malabar Areas . BSNL has huge customers but they only have one tower in so many crowded areas hence they are experiencing Ntework problem frequently .
Tata Indicom and Reliance CDMA are best in Clarity , Docomo really need to improve in the case of consistent Performance of Coverage ,Aircel , Virgin Mobile, Relaince GSM , Videocon and Uninor coverages are not up to the Mark.

In GSM network; Idea is the leading one followed by Vodafone & BSNL. Airtel stands next followed by DOCOMO in terms of both Coverage and service. All other GSM's are useless..........
In CDMA, you can go ahead wirh Reliance followed by Tata and Mts
