Simple and cost-effective remedies for acidity.

Chew a few basil (tulsi) leaves daily.
Keep a small piece of jaggery (gur) in your mouth and suck it slowly.
Eat watermelon, banana or cucumber at regular intervals.
Drink coconut water four or five times a day.
Drink a glass of cold milk first thing in the morning.
Maintaining an upright posture after taking food will help.

Different remedies work for different people , I am not going to give you any advice to what will work for you (I am not a Doctor or a Hakim etc) But this works for me
Two table spoon of Soonf and a tea spoon of Green Elichee in 4 liters of water
bring to slow simmer and add fresh leaves of Pudina in it bring to gentle boil for about five min let the whole thing cool down , when cool sieve the water in a bottle and use that instead of normal water all the time when ever you need a glass of water and not just when you have gas. it works wonders for me I hope it does for you no harm in trying. it does not have to be very strong adjust the ingredients to suit your taste buds. Try it and then come and tell us if it worked for you.
