Both are in search of truth. So it appears that they might meet somewhere. But with the presents ways of science, they wud never meet because they are searching in diametrically opposite ways. Science seeks objectively while spiritual search is purely subjective. Science goes OUT to search thru the 5 physical senses and mind. Spirituality goes IN thru the inner eye. Science analysis truth into MANY, spirituality integrates to UNITY. Science has to be verifiable by any person, while spirituality demands a higher consciousness. So u see, differences are many. They run parallel and wud never meet !

The closest is by means of scientific philosophy...philosophy too is a kind of spiritual thought but If you mean religion by spiritual thought then, I'm sorry, it's not the cliched oil and water but water and concentrated h2so4!

Science can impart th esight to see the wolrd around, but not the sight to see the DIVINITY. It can cleanse our blood of impurities, but cannt cleanse our Heart of base feelings. It can cure almost all the heart ailments, but cannt instil sympathy, compassin and good-will in the heart; such tender and noble sentiments can be inculcated obly by Spirituality./
