Q.

The central vigilance commission invites public response on the draft strategy to curb the corruption in all possible ways. Based on our feed back, the commission would recommend the final strategy to the government.
We can download the draft strategy from the commission website: www.cvc.nic.in
AND AFTER READING IT WE CAN SEND OUR RESPONSE TO THE COMMISSION ON OR BEFORE 20.9.10.
- How many of us atleast know this?:-)

Probably about .001% ! However there is little or no positives will evolve from from such suggestions , unless the basic nature of the people against corruption changes.

I didnt... when there can be slogans, pamphlets, shouting, public/individual contact and publicity of every kind at the cost of tax payers money; in each neighbourhood and villages for capturing votes;; why cant this type of vital feedback be garnered through same media ! ? what prevents officer-in-charge ! ?

If such a scheme exists, it looks like CVC has not bothered to openly announce it to the public, as many people are not aware of it. It is possible information officer of the Commission is expecting some commission to be paid to him for sharing the announcement. Since corruption is so deep rooted I won't be surprised if the CVC expects the suggestions to be submitted along with an envelop or suitcase containing currency notes for even the suggestion to be read.

A patient knows which is the road to the hospital. A sufferer know which is the road to the Police Station. A passenger any how finds out which is the road to the Bus Station or the Railway Station. So concerned people will surely keep contact with CVC.The information that you have quoted does not concern the entire Indian Population. Concerned people are surely keeping track.
