Pre-independence India:
I could identify the country's enemy very easily.

Post Independence India:
Enemies of the nation are camoflauged in our vast & exhaustive political system.

Britishers were only interested in the welfare of their country so not more attention was paid for welfare of people..No body can criticise any one of them without getting punishment, though administration and law and order situation was much better but after indepence though much development has been done but many problems have been given due to unprudent decision by our leaders as Nehru gave nation Kashmir and China problem , Mrs Indira Gandhi divide and rule and degraded all constitutional authorities and now Sonia Gandhi and PM appeasement of muslims and terrorism, NarshimaRao buying Sansads by notes and VPSingh politics of caste through Mandal commission report.

Before independence, we did not know many of our problems. Now we have to grapple with such problems which we never knew that such problems existed.
Before, corruption was kept under the carpet, now it is on the surface.
Before we hated the British rulers, now we hate the Indian rulers
Before we were poor, now we are becoming rich.
Before we used to import items from foreign manufacturers, now we are buying those manufacturers.
Before we were known as a country of snake charmers, now we are known as economic tiger.
Like the above there are many differences.
