Issues that relate to guidance are religious questions; issues that don't are not. For example, whether or not one should live a moral life, why one should live a moral life, what the consequences of not living a moral life are, all of these are religious questions. The specifications of the latest electronic gadget, the chemical makeup of carbon tetrachloride, the physics of black holes, or technological advances in artificial intelligence, none of these--in and of themselves--are religious questions.
