The best remedy for a broken soul/heart is the attention & appreciation of someone else. All of us need to feel that we are important for someone, no matter if that person is miles away, no matter if we never have met that person or if we already met him/her in our life.

My belief is that the most important for our happiness is not our material situation, not our health but our peace of soul. If you are ill you can still smile, if you have no money in your pocket you can smile, but if your soul is empty your smile will look mostly like a grimace.

When you believe in one thing and you act and behave in an opposite manner, you become an empty vessel, a shell, a person without substance. Your physical body is alive, but it is hollow and vacant because it lacks integrity and meaning. Many of todays young celebrities such as Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Br ...more

Give of yourself. What does this mean? It simply means to give yourself, your time, your experience, your knowledge, your expertise to others. Give yourself to a cause, a friend, a charity. Give to someone or something in need. Make yourself available to others. When you give of yourself in this nature you will get something back. It may be something tangible or it may be a sense of fulfillment. It may be simply the feeling that you have done some good and that there is a bigger picture out there above and beyond the heartache that you are feeling.

If you have experienced a break up from a relationship then you know that feeling of heart ache. You understand that you will feel pain from the loss of the relationship. You will have to go through it and deal with it. It is real. If someone hit you with a brick you wouldn't question the pain, would you? You couldn't prevent the pain. You would feel it until it stopped. The same holds true with a "broken heart." Accept that you will hurt ...more
