They laugh at themselves for not capable of resisting even trivial desires like avoiding a cell phone, which is more a nuisance than benefit for a serious active person, especially a student. Please take their laughter as a mix of jealousy and admiration. Go ahead thro' the path, you feel right. Good luck.

Do not feel about it. They donot know how harmful is using the cell phone for a long time. Studies indicated so many health problems (including infertility, heart problems etc). This is because, the communications in them ware carried out through the microwave waves which are harmful as they cause ionisation of the molecules and rotation of polar molecules present in the body.

They laugh not on you but their own 'WISDOM'. Number of persons still work effectively without possessing a Mobile.Take the life as it suits you without even thinking or following the footings of others.

They must be laughing to themselves how unlucky they are. One if I forget my mobile to office, I enjoy that day. You are lucky, your privacy is intact.
