1. Air (first need of a person for germination)2..earth (birth on earth), 3.fire( after the birth immideatly we need that), 4. water( fourth important to survive, 5. Akash ( which is vast and never ends and atma disolves in that for rebirth)

Agni is hunger,food,energy of body
Vayu is breathing
jal is all water content in body-blood etc.
Prithvi is all solidified body parts
Akash is mind,mann,imagination & the space which is present in all other parts.

Aakash is Sky, Space, Universe or Cosmos that contains Energy and Matter and by the interaction of each others' gravitation each Star and planet is in suspended animation always which is a greatest wonder of creation going on as a magic or circus in which we are also part and parcel as in a game endless!
