Q.

I have a doubt. Vanniyar is one among the 1001 communities in Tamilnadu. But The C.M. has formed a Board for the Vanniyar community alone at the expense of the Govt. headed by a senior IAS Officer. But why the other communities are neglected in this aspect. Such Boards for Mudaliar, Chettiar, etc.,communities can also be formed. What else for the public funds are there ? Is the Vanniyar Board formed to please the PMK group at the time of Parl.election or to divert the vanniyar community people away from Mr.Ramdas.

Mr.Karunanidhi is very much interested in winning parliament election without losing a single seat as before.Hence he is very keen to satisfy every demand of each and every community by all and sundry.He is not bothered about expenditure involved nor the consequences therefrom.This is the strategy behind it.

I for one, ironically support this move....

Because more vanniyars into DMK = less vanniyars into PMK. And PMK is 10000000000000001 times more dangerous than DMK as a vote. They're blatant Ram Sene type right wings. DMK is at least centrist.

Although the DMK probably did this move to drive a wedge in the PMK and add to its own ranks, it does work out in the interests of the people of Tamil Nadu- who have suffered from too many PMK right wing like folks for far too long.

PMK = Tamil Talibans.

Yes, you yourself answered you question very clearly, the Tamil Nadu government is engaging itself in an unnecessary political extravaganza ,to woo the vanniars ,wasting public money .This is only wasting taxpayers money for developing DMK vote banks and driving a political wedge against Dr. Ramadass.
