Q.

You all must be aware about Naxal problem in India. Its been a very old n big threat to Indias internal security and recently it has taken a bigger n devastating mode. Congress govt. has always tried to shake off its responsibility saying that naxalism is d states issue but infact it has become a monster, which this govt is responsible for. I think they are not doing enough to address this problem at all. First, d 'Salva Judum' debacle, & then d Lalgarh episode, shows that d central & state govts have gone all wrong. Indian Govt is on the 'right way' to tackle Naxalism ?

Fortunately,I have visited the Naxal affected areas of Malkanagiri(orissa) n have a first hand knowledge of the problems of the people n the reason for rise of the naxalas. The problem is mostly due to the exploitation of the poor by the rich ,mis appropriation of Govt.aid n lack of infrastructural facilities. If these problems r solved the naxal problem will vanish. The so called politicians n babus ,who call themselves planners n policy makers ,do not understand the actual problem.Their attachment for AC rooms is one of the most important reasons for their failure to understnad the problems of the people of the naxal affected areas.Once they try to understand their problem,50 % of naxals will leave. The next 50 % will leave if developmental measures in true sense of the term r taken.
So,it may be the state or central Govt.,what we need is a positive action. The police is not the right answer.Development of their area n the people is the right answer.

Not at all, our govt. makes lot of statements & on ground there is no action at all. Our Govt. needs to have some balls & be strong. Well, well, well to breed maoism, India is not china. They should eliminate each & every maoist by brutal force & taking help of IAF & take over the entire red corridor. Later development has to reach those tribal areas exploited by maoists & most importantly to make assure that maoism never surfaces again, the corrupt Govt. officials & politicos who gobble up Govt. funds & harass tribals & hamper their development should also be treated like maoists. We need an able, honest & tough leader with a good samaritan heart & balanced & unbiased brain to tackle maoism & problems related to it.

Sorry but naxilasm is essential to correct the system. The high handedness of the politicians, the rich and the police give rise to such tendencies.

1) salva judum is congress initative to control naxal.instead it has yields human settlement like the one who is homeless. which is a meaningless at the hands of them to protect at the cost of not accessing the homes and fields. totally failed.
2) in this similar fashion state govt acts based on central pressure in the form various trouble from press, electronic media, and cpi m is sleepong like that they forced to pit on their foot towards naxal issue to make west bengal use less for any industry. by way of that you can bluff the public a) spent for law and order. b) to maintain the regiment
.c) in the lalgarh iss ue totally cpim govt fails . news prints like leading magazines hindu takes the news to every corner.congress did the damage to cpim with his business friends and media friends. but the same cpim is not able to damage because of party strength lies with in few states.that is also one of the reason.
