It is considered equivalent to a degree in engineering. Those who have passed Diploma in Engineering or equivalent, can appear for AMIE.
Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India). Even developed countries like the UK accept it as equivalent to BE.
