1.

1) Wikipedia says that according to 1961 Census in India, there were 1,652 languages in India.
2) Under such circumstances, do you think that it is easy or appropriate to say that a particular language is sweeter than the rest without actually knowing most of them? I do not think so!
3) On an average, an ordinary Indian knows only two or three languages. First one is his/her own mother tongue and the second one is English. Only very few people know more than two Indian languages. So naturally, people would vote for their mother tongue as the sweetest language in India.
4) However, one is free to express his / her opinion as we come across the popular reports on languages in the media. So we can form our own opinion on a broad basis. We, at the same time, know that some languages are not sweet.
5) It is my personal opinion that our ancient language SANSKRIT is definitely the sweetest and the versatile language. I would also say that URDU is also the sweet language. I can underst ...more

Hi, For every person his/her mother tongue will be most sweet, with which he/she feels comfortable to interact , which he/she can understand well and of which he/she will have better command......!

Bengali is the sweetest . Jana gana mana adhinayak jayo he ...............it was written in BENGALI .

To each his own, i will say urdu as very poetic, bengalis will say bengali as mishti and so on.
