Q.
It seems naxalites are becoming a great threat to our security and what they did in bihar and jharkhand recently was horrible and is a warning to nation but why our upa govt. is not taling strict action to deal with them, we are listening that army will not be used and we can talk if they give away arms, which is impossible?this govt it seems does not strike in the beginning and wait to complicate the problem and when many innocent lives are lost?

The Naxal menace aint a day job to be tackled in one go. It needs to be approached in various forms. For once the government needs to initiate an all out counter offensive against them. Secondly all the monetary and propaganda supply chain of the Naxalites needs to be demolished. Lastly the government needs to bring true growth and development in the Naxal infested areas.

First off.....
U might wanna remember that in "similar separatist" cases of violence such as ones in J&K or the ULFA- those groups had 100000x the funding & foreign support of the Naxal's and the govt was able to contain those menaces fairly easily. Naxalism is different.
It is indegenous, fully home grown, with negligible support from any visible foreign country. The thought "China supports Naxalites" is a hoax, because Naxals are strict Maoist ideologues and Maoism is sort of considered a "failure" in China ever since Deng Xiaoping came to power in the 70s (and arrested & sentenced to gulag many prominent Maoists including General Lin Biao who attacked India).
As far as "talks" go, from perspective of Govt of India, when a group demands a chunk of territory or a separate homeland, "talking" to them is easy, as compensations can be made, such as "no, you won't get J&K flag, but we CAN give you (x, y, z) autonomy but you have to answer up to India" then they say "No no, x,y, ...more
