Nothing decides it .i mean niether age nor behaviour .. a person can be mature even if he cracks joke or has a lot of sense of humour .. when u know the person is understanding and he behaves accordingly .u can say he or she is mature , because many a tiems people behave in different way , as they like , but from inside tehy can be very mature , tht is not kiddish

age is certainely not the criteria

Age is not the only factor on maturity of a person although it is an important factor because with age, one gets a lot of experience having seen and practically undergone different trials and tribulations. For maturity, one has to have a lot of patience, understanding, learning, experiencing, different situations. The more a persons has undergone all these, the more mature he/she is is. Many a times, failures and how to overcome them also helps in getting matured.
