What God has told you to do ?
Some say God lies by proxy and point to one Kings twenty-two:twenty-three as proof. At first blush perhaps. But a careful reading of two Kings chapter twenty-two in its entirety shows that the false prophets were telling King Ahab wanted he wanted to hear. But the true prophet Micaiah refused to lie and told King Ahab the truth. Ahab still didn't want to hear it. Then the prophet Micaiah goes on to tell King Ahab what he sees: a heavenly discussion between God and the angels concerning fooling Ahab. Ahab was not deceived by the angels Ahab was fooled because that is precisely what he wanted. He fooled himself because he was in fact a fool. Fools tend to do that.
