We indians love our cars as a part of the family. our dear and near ones travel in these cars and we wait and pray for the safe return of our loved ones and our car.invariably the threat of the vehicle catching fire is greater when fitted with CNG OR LPG, a risk we won't like to take, therefore we use petrol.

The govt. should give permission for using lpg/cng in 2 wheelers also, like the bajaj chetak, &similar vehicles. If the Govt.gives incentives for fixing lpg/cng kits then the people will come forward and save lot of petrol/diesel.

CNG & LPG fitted cars are in their very initial stage because the govt. has still to come up with plans of setting up of filling stations of CNG & LPG . LPG is not going to be a better option in the long run because LPG shortage will create trouble for the Indian households and more demand of LPG with less supply will only lead to more prices. Electric Vehicles will have to be developed to overcome this problem of Petrol..
