In general, elevate your mind is to not be bogged down in everyday life, but to think in terms of uplifting spiritual things.
In Christianity, Paul suggested the following in Philippians 4:8 (New Living Translation)
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
