Yes it has happened to me in the course of being a Committee member of an organisation - and quite honestly I didn't want it - because whichever way you jump you are either damned if you do and damned if you don't !!

Gosh, I start feeling goose pimples when I remember, how couple of fellows dragged me into a controversy. Incident related with students activities and you know what kind of slogans we give and hoardings, banners we made during the hours of demonstrations before Senate of the university. My group consisting both male and female students took actual participation in State wide morcha protesting against some rectification in curricula. Such activities is part of student life and Vice-Chancellor had agreed to come outside the senate hall to accept the memo from leaders. Its an ordinary course to go in peaceful,healthy manner. More than anything, the Senate members had nothing to do with the amendment as it had been on the agenda of Ministry and the bill was yet to get ok signal from legislative council. Yet, students were to hand over the signed notice to VC in intention to convey the agitation prevailed among students on the specific issue. We were sure it would end in peaceful manner. S ...more

It always happens..but no body can hurt us without our consent..one always has a freedom to chose or to select..We are responsible for our environment ..we cant get acted upon without our wish..
