Hi, We can see good relationships, nice understanding relationship but Ideal relationship is such which is felt ideal to others. What one feels Ideal, need not be felt ideal to anothe rpersons. It is very difficult to have that much merits in a couple to be an example to to others . Can we call acouple ideal where there is lot of understanding between them but the essence of love lacking in them . I think why should we take so much pains to become perfect and ideal . We just need to be good ,enjoying the relationship with respect for each other ,We can be just be humanbeings where we commit mistakes , understand our mistakes , make corrections and improvements to make the relationship work and cherish.I have hardly seen a couple which can be felt ideal or outstanding. Some flaws can be seen somehwere. still we can say they have betterunderstanding between them so no doubt their relationship is fantastic . When two humanbeings are related in some way of other it is love which binds th ...more

Even the term "idea' is a very relative term and depends on the situation. Ideal in a given condition and ideal in concept are two different things. As for example, take the case of marriage. When not entered into the nuptial knots, one may have lot of idea, visualizations, fantasies which get affected by daily experiences . Same happens in professional or other fields. Hence in stead the term "ideal" by " the more appropriate would be to making the best out of a given situation.

I don't know what is best but I have a fantasy about the best thing. We all know such best things generally outlandish and very hard to achieve. I think I have also not struck such relationship except with son in his infancy when he gave only toothless smiles exposing his gums.

An ideal relationship does not exist in the world. Yes good, very good, even excellent relationships do exist. And the basic elements required for such relationships are loving, caring, understanding, compromising, sincerity, dedication and most importantly transperancy and honesty in a relationship. Now this has to be from both sides.
Yes I have been lucky enough to have a great relationship with my wife for many years and for that more credit goes to her than me because I am a very tempremental guy
