China's strength is India's weakness and India's strength is China's weakness. However, unfortunately for India, its weaknesses r greater than strengths, which is the opposite 4 China.

The main strength we have in India is the fact that we can call our leaders all sorts of names and u don't get into trouble. U can critique the government very openly, in its face, and the govt has no right to touch u. This level of expressionism is not yet there in China....

But PRACTICAL freedoms in China are MUCH greater than in India as Chinese folks tend to have secular morals and INdians have religious morals. In China, after finishing my work in the office on Saturday, I can go to a nightclub, have a nice time w/ some ladies, maybe even date a few, have some wines and come back home by 3 AM.

In India, social norms forces u to have a lifestyle which may seem like living in Taliban Afghanistan 4 Chinese people's standards. After finishing work, the only place where u can realistically go ...more
