I think we concentrate more on Athletics they really make our country proud and they know the importance of representing a country.. cricketers are just enjoying in every tour, without any Shame. They take eveything easy.. because all politicians are sitting in board to make money.. they dont care about peoples feelings and country's pride... Shameless Cricketers& shameless board...

Lets accept the FACT that we INDIANS will never improve in any other sports unless until we divert from cricket which has no scope whatsoever in Olympics, asian games or commonwealth games!
AS indians all of us should encourage our sportsmen to concentrate on other sports like weightlifting, Athletics, gymnastics, swimming, volleyball ,boxing, soccer, shooting etc.
We hav to take a cue from our counterparts CHiNA and diversify into all sports. Only then we can atleast have some chance of garnering more GOLD MEDALS in the future olympics

Needs some encouragement from govt and mainly from the teachers in schools & colleges. Our education is screwing students with the class room subjects. more than 70% students dont know anyother game except cricket.

Sad. Cricket has no competiton. People should try to evolve a strategy to promote other sport rather than jealously pointing a finger to other popular sport.
