It is true that majority of communist politicians is honest compared to politicians belonging to all other political parties in India. However, their honesty is more to their ideology than to the nation which is not a good thing. For example, Prakash Karat. He may be personally a very honest guy but is he honest to his own nation and national interest. I suspect that. His loyalty lies somewhere else.

In order to bail itself out, the CPI Marxist faction attached itself to the COngress-I party. Then it was fine because our socio-economic character was fairly SOcialistic in nature. But today, the CPI Marxist turn out looking like Barney the dinosaur primarily because the modern socio-economic character of the Congress-I is no longer SOcialistic.

Yet, the CPI Marxist is unable to garner the self confidence to break away from Congress-I, suffer some setbacks, and come back stronger as an independent allia ...more

Are you being too judgemental or are you asking a question? I think communists like other Indians are humans and have human traits typical to any Indian. How can you brand them as different?
