Of course, most people today sort of pooh-pooh and dismiss it because they cannot help but associate the Bible with do-nothing Christianity--Churchianity --which, with all of its vain traditions, hypocrisy and lack of love for the poor has discredited itself in the minds of most people and has thereby discredited the Book they claim to be following!

But the fact is that the church system today is about as far removed from what the Bible really teaches as capitalism is from communism !--Jesus Himself told the churchy religious leaders of His day, "You have made the Word of God of none effect through your traditions!" (Mk.7:8-13) The true foundation and Truth of God laid down in the Bible has been so cluttered up through the centuries by all the fabrications, contortions and distortions of the preachers that ...more

The people who read it :)

If the Bible was not read by anyone, it would be forgotten. Just as.....

If Ashoka The Great was not remembered by anyone, he would be forgotten.

It is the proletariat masses of the world who r the REAL kingmakers because it is their patronage of a concept, or a commodity or about anything- upon which value is derived from. Without patronage of the masses, nothing has value.

The Bible alone is the revealed Word of God. Even though it was written by men, the ultimate author was God Almighty. This claim the Bible makes for itself.
The word of the LORD endures forever (1 Peter 1: 25) All Scripture is God-breathed (2 Timothy 3:16). The prophecy came not in old time by the will of man; but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit
(2 Peter 1: 21).
Over 2000 times in the Old Testament alone there are clauses such as, And God spoke to Moses, the word of the LORD came unto Jonah, and God said. Moreover, the Bible claims to be a record of the words and deeds of God, thus the Bible views itself as Gods Word.
The Bible contains convincing evidence as being the Word of God.
One reason that the Bible is different from other books is its unity. Although this book was composed by men, its unity reveals the hand of the Almighty. The Bible was written over a period of about 1500 years by more than 40 different human authors. These authors ...more

Bible is a set of principle.,whether they follow or not, bible is one of the holiest of the books.an christian ought to know a bible.people may be protestians.but the shortcoming with bible is that it has been modified by pope's during their age.whether it contains the truth are not.,people believe the myth like all other religians have.while we have people who say god does not exist the christians are greater to them.and so the bible.
