What is coup ? i do know the coup in principle what i would like to know is how does it work ? how can military take over the political establishment without the mandate of the people

Take over of democratically established government or rule of law in a kingdom or country by an individual or group of individuals, organisation including military establishment through coercive, surreptitious, illegal forceful means is known and described as a coup. The coup can be accomplished by bloodshed as well as bloodless strategic plan or action. The ultimate power of a country is the army or military power which is headed and practically controlled by a uniformed supreme commander known as the Chief of Army Staff etc. In a democractic system of establishment or kingdom, this supreme commander reports to his political bosses like Defence Minister/Prime Minister/President. When the commander feels arrogant and stops taking orders from his masters and starts dictating them by taking them hostage or killing them and declaring himself as the ruler, such take over will be considered as the coup. COUP- BUT PRONOUNCED AS cou ONLY MEANING-A sudden and decisive change of government illegally or by force AND USUALL YWH OCAN TAKE TE HCONFIDENCE OF TE HmILITARY ONLY CAN OVER THROW THE PRESENT GOVT AND TAKE OVER-tHAT IS WHY IT IC military RULE- iT HAPPENED ATLEAST THRICE IN pAKISTAN
