Yucca is a healthy root vegetable that has a brown outer skin and white on the inside. There are properties in the Yucca that can help arthritis and rheumatism due to the plants high content of steroid saponins, which are precursors to cortisone, and act as an anti-inflammatory. Yucca is high in Vitamins C, B & A as well as calcium, phosphorus, potassium and iron. Diuretics and emetics are commonly made from both the root and leaves of the Yucca.

Maybe injuring , as I know basil leaves can used for injuring and we always used to plant it in our house and even when we were kids we used to just put it in the injuring to stop the blood ;-)
