A normal person helps a blind person to cross a busy section of the road - one of the best example of good deed.
A man and a woman get down from the bus/train at night. The woman says 'Bhaiya, I am afraid. Please help me to reach my home. She called him 'brother'. He agrees but on the way molest and rapes her - the worst sin.

I know that when we do good deeds (things we wouldn't even think would be a deed are, God is the Best :)), some of our (small) sins are forgiven. Are there sins that wipe away are good deeds?

good deeds are hard to define and worst sins ,we read of them every day in newspapers

There probably needs to be clarification here regarding the parameters for measuring the Good /bad deeds..there could be two in broad scenario 1)good/bad defined based on their effect on any thing other than self..2) good /bad based on self..having said that...all good/best deeds are those which makes self happy and righteous WITHOUT negatively effecting any other person/thing..the worst ones are living in la la land and taking flights of fancy ..ultimately lying to-Self..

I fail to understand why people are so obsessed with this categorizing everything in terms of GOOD and BAD. There are no absolute good and bad. what is good for one person may be bad for another. what is good at one time may be bad at another time for the very same person or in a different occasion. And sometimes even something that is good for you is perceived as bad, or vice versa, out of ignorance. While it may be true that there cud be positive and negative options in a given life situation, there is NO universal Good& Bad applicable at all time everywhere. This why all books of morality fail over time! To lead a meaningful life, this obsession is not only not a need, but is a hindrance as well.
