Good question.. Market psychology is people are more attracted towards higher discounts.. One shirt free on purchase of two.. They sell two at a time, when even one is not worth the half price. Sale'' mentality is similar.. customers get higher discount, and they rush for it..
Those who know the trick, never look for discount.. I will go for a right or reasonable price.. and will go for lowest price. A little haggling can produce a good bargain. than : ''50 % discount on purchase of 5000'' slogan

HIGHEST discount hua toh puraana maal khallas karke naye aur updated maal bharne ka practice hai....
Dono hi manzoor nahi hai....
