Multani Mitti, also known as Indian Fullers Earth, is similar to kaolin clay. It is formed by the decomposition of volcanic ash. Fullers used it to clean sheeps wool prior to spinning it, and hence the reason for its name. Multani Mitti clay is highly absorbent. It is good for drawing excess oils from the skin and stimulating circulation to the skin.
Uses: Suitable for Oily Skin/Hair
Multani mati is very easily available and not costly. It is naturally available so no side effects. One more advantage is that you can apply it on any type of skin. Years ago there were no cosmetics available that we are finding in todays modern days but at that time people were also take care and aware of their skin care. So that they use multani mati like naturally available things.

It is used as a face-pack to remove the dirt from the pores of the face skin to cleanse it..., it is normally mixed with rose water and honey...
