Durga Puja, Ganesh Puja, Rajo Sankranti are the important festivals in Balasore, when everybody remain in festive mood. In the earlier two festivals deities are worshiped in common places with much pomp and ceremony. But the later one is observed in all households, particularly in rural areas, when no body goes to work. Only masti.
