Lack of proper planning to the grassroot level, funds getting syphoned off , poor or bad implementation, half cooked half baked approach .No sincerity in taking education to the masses. Poverty & Illiteracy are a blessing in disguise for those politicians and the bureaucrats who want the countrymen to be followers and not leaders, who want them to be yes men, stooges and not educated, civilised ,independent and creative. Stereotyped education with outdated syllabii is yet another reason. Is it that in our country the defination of illiteracy is : be able to write and read one's name and perhaps put a signature!

The reasons for illiteracy are worst schooling facilities available in villages,Proper sitting facility, airy rooms, play grounds and commited teachers , head master, sport teacher, drinking water are not available in block level schools having strength of 1500 boys and girls. These socalled schools have become enrolement centers for board level exam purpose as pupils are taking coaching out side towns or schools. In big towns one room institute are offering so many courese and students are becoming mental illterate. Schooling has become big problem in India like security because of political interference. On record schools are there, teachers are there, funds and salary are distributed but actually schooling is not there.
