You need to define the role of Mr. Modi and then ask for the PLUS and MINUS points of Modi As for example if you examine him as a son of parents, he might be good, if you asl whether he is a scholar, I may so Post Graduate in Pol Sciencee , if you ask how is he as a primary worker of the Party I may say , might be good. if you ask how is he as CM of Gujarat , i may say he took charge of a developed state and comfortably ran his administration, and if you ask how he is as a PM aspirant, I would say never because his eyes are set on Gujarat only.

Plus points, zero.
Minus points too many. To cover his minus points, he resorts to all sorts of gimmicks. He started with being a Fascist now pretends to be Secularist. Then suddenly becomes once again. He shamelessly say he developed gujarat where as we all know Gujaratis are a very enterprising people and Gujarat was already a developed state, the good work done by hiw predecessors. Minus points is that he is only a literate person with MA degree etc but Education has not touched him. On family side, do you know anything about his wife? Why he is a single person inspite of his wife being still alive? Minus point for a PM aspirant is that he is cocooned in Gujarat only. He thinks Gujarat, sleeps Gujarat and rescues Gujaratis from Uttara Khand ... but others want him to be elected by all India as the PM of the country.
With all these Minus points, any plus point he may have, negates itself.

An uncorrupt ,straighforward, development oriented politician with hard work and vision for progress.
He is beyond all petty politics and loved by his people in Gujarat, which was transformed into world class State. He is capable of transforming India into World Class Country.
His minus point -- In a society which has been made selfish by dirty politics, Modi has not learnt the art of cheating and make use of "secularism (UPA brand)" ,eventhough he is purely secular. He has long back regretted for any of his drawback.
