1963, Elliot beach, Chennai-many of us as usual enjoying sea bath on a Sunday. Suddenly a vortex formed and I was in the epicenter of it and just could not overcome and it was sucking me inside. Then came a hand caught hold of my hair and pulled me outside! Risking his life, Noor Mohammed , my class mate and dear friend for 11 school years is the man- still we go, though rarely, to have a bath in the same place.
