Maharastra is a sacred place for pilgrimages. Near ellora Grishneswar and
at Parli -Vaidyanath jyothirling and near manchar Bhimashankar jyothirling and near Parbani
Naganath and near Nasik Trayambakeswar all are important shiva temples.
Lord Krishna as Vithal at Pandhrpur. and Maatha Lakshmi at Kolhapur.All are both historically and religiously important.

Hai every inch of maharastra has history, see Aajanta, allora, siwaji park, BOmbay VT railways staion, Gate way of India . it is endless list yaar

U can go to any ford all are equally important..as maharatshtra is know for state of fords. i suggest u shld go to shivneri rajgad torna
