I partially agree with you. now a days it seems the trend. in olden days, there are S.S. Vasan, Gemini, Bhim Sen , all these people use to make the movies simaltaniously in Tamil as well as in Hindi. There are number of movies were made in that way. for example, Kallauthur Kannama is made in Hindi as " Main Chup rahungi " Paigam " is also made in Hindi and Tamil. and hence the south Indian directors made films in both the languages. Moreover, there are some Hindi movies also made in Tamil, mostly Rajnikanth movies. hence i agree with you partially only.

Different makers now realise that a hindi movie will get them good return as compared to in other languages due to large hindi movie goers.
