It depends who\'s got the balls (figuratively speaking) to do the job and command the respect of his/her subordinates. If a woman like Indira Gandhi can run the nation with an iron fist and a man like FM Sam Manekshaw could make Pakistan surrender and liberate East from west Pakistan, why not? Why don\'t we look past the gender barrier and idiotic questions like so, and try to aim for more efficiency in our country. That\'s what we need the most. Not bickering over who\'s better than who. If you take my opinion, even a woman can wallop a man in a brawl and even men can cook better than women. Any takers? Anyone to call me a sexist? Hmmm?

It all depends on which secto/area they work. In certain areas, women can be better e.g. in nursing, hospital management, pharmacy, caring, even sometimes in the administration. But men are better in security, marketing involving a lot of outdoor work, managing fleet of vehicles, etc.
Hence, we cannot generalise and say that men or women are better bosses . It all depends on the area/sector of work in which they are involved. In some areas men are better whereas in some areas women can be better bosses.

It depends upon the organisation and sector in which they are working. where there needs to be rough and tough decisions are to be taken and dealt with people, there men are the only best bosses.where system to be worked, there women are best bosses.

In the male dominated world, we dont like to give females chances to be bosses, but than where I worked some years ago, my boss in my department was a female and she was superb. Very creative and very understanding.

A Boss is a Boss. Gender is not important. It depends on the quality of a person and how one can make herself / himself as a good boss. Personally speaking my experience with only one woman boss that I encountered in my entire career of 37 years was not very good. She was jealous of me and used to make stories with the Big Boss about me which were all untrue. i did not survive there but nor did she. However women are better workers and more reliable as secretaries and other support staff. There may be others who have better experience with women bosses and I again repeat it is individual that matters not the gender.
