Avocado leaves have antibacterial characteristic which can inhibit the growth of several bacteria species, which are Staphylococcus sp, Pseudomonas sp, Proteus sp, Escherichea sp, and Bacillus sp. Avocado leaves had been used for long time to cure urinary stone disease, hypertension, lumbago (lower back pain), headache, toothache, and irregular menstruation period.

Avocado---Digestive, emmenagogue, antibacterial, antioxidant, antifungal, pectoral, stomachic, anthelmintic, antiperiodic.
The fruit skin is antibiotic; it is employed as a vermifuge and remedy for dysentery. The leaves are chewed as a remedy for pyorrhea. Leaf poultices are applied on wounds. Heated leaves are applied on the forehead to relieve neuralgia. The leaf juice has antibiotic activity. The aqueous extract of the leaves has a prolonged hypertensive effect. We all know that the avocado flesh is very delicious, it has soft texture with the calm taste that make it very suitable to be consumed as fruit juice. While in cosmetics, avocado flesh can be used as a main substance in the production of masker.
