In Govt Service CTC means 'Charge Taking Certificate" which Two officers sign on taking charge when one is relieved of the charge and other takes it at the time of Joining afresh or resuming after leave period..

CTC -> Cost To Company.
It means your pay package/monthly salary, which teh company has to shell out every month for you.
Current CTC - The salary that you receive currently/presently
Expected CTC- Salary that you expect from the company that you are applying to.
As per the Income Tax Act any money paid by an employer to an employee is termed as CTC. It includes all the component of salary. !!
