The best option to go for is SX4. It is the best midsize car to go for. Equipped with 16 V DOHC engine it give a maximum output of 102bhp @ 5500rpm and delivers maximum torque of 142Nm @ 4200rpm. Both the variants ZXi and VXi have manual transmission and 5 speed gearbox. The mileage delivered by the car is 12kmpl within the city limits and around 14kmpl when driven on highway. The cost of the car is Rs. 718000 for Vxi and Zxi cost Rs. 794000.Given are the on-road price Delhi. It does have good resale value

How about Dicor or TDi Indigo?

- It will be good as chauffeur driven vehicle with ample space and excellent ride.
- It is diesel, so he saves on Fuel costs too.
- It may not be scorcher, but still you get diesel torque in hills and it will always be decent upgrade to 800.

I would rule out VDi for want of space in rear seat. Swift is more of driver's car than chauffeur driven car.
